These terms cover this website and the brief form on it. They are not the terms of an engagement: if we work together, that is a separate written agreement, and nothing on this page overrides it.

What the site is

A description of what we do and what we have built. Nothing here is an offer, a quote or a warranty. Timelines, prices and scope exist only in a written scope document addressed to you.

Sending us a brief

Sending a brief starts a conversation and obliges neither side to anything. We may decline — and say why. You may stop replying, and we will not chase.

Please do not send confidential material through the form. It travels over the public internet to our inbox, and it is the wrong channel for anything under an NDA. Tell us it exists and we will agree how to exchange it properly.

We treat what you send as confidential in practice regardless, but treating and warranting are different things, and we would rather be exact about which one this is.

Who owns what

The text, code and design of this site belong to us. The case studies describe work delivered to clients who own that work; they appear here without client names by agreement.

In an engagement, the code we write for you is yours from the first day — it lives in your repository and runs in your accounts. That is a term of the engagement agreement, restated here because people reasonably want to know before they write in.

Availability

The site may be unavailable during deploys or provider incidents. It is a marketing site; no uptime is promised for it, and nothing depends on it staying up.

Links to repositories and third-party sites are given because they are useful. We do not control them and cannot answer for what they contain.
