This site collects as little as it can. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to, and the paragraphs below are meant to be checkable rather than comprehensive.
What the site itself collects
Nothing that identifies you. Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies and does not build a profile across sites. We see aggregate numbers — which pages were opened, roughly from where — and nothing that points at a person.
There are no third-party fonts and no advertising pixels anywhere on the site. Two scripts run, and that is the whole list: the analytics beacon described above, and the Turnstile check on the contact page. Both belong to Cloudflare and both are accounted for on this page. Nothing else executes, and you are welcome to verify that.
What happens when you send a brief
The contact form asks for your name, work email, company, and a description of what you need built, plus three multiple-choice answers. That message is delivered to our own inbox by Resend, an email delivery service acting as our processor. It is not added to a mailing list and not passed to anyone else.
Our replies to you go out through the same provider, so your address passes through Resend in both directions. Incoming mail to our address is routed by Cloudflare. Neither of them is doing anything with it beyond delivery.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a person rather than a script. Turnstile receives your IP address and browser signals to make that judgement. It replaces a CAPTCHA, and unlike most it does not track you across sites.
Server logs of the submission deliberately exclude the contents: they record the domain of your email address, the length of your message, and which page of this site you were reading when you opened the form — not the address itself, not what you wrote, and not where you were before you arrived here. If you reached the form from another site, that is not recorded at all.
How long we keep it
Briefs stay in our mailbox as long as the conversation is live and for up to two years after, because a project discussed once often returns. Ask us to delete yours and we will, in full, and confirm when it is done.
Your choices
Write to contact@ferwyn.com to ask what we hold about you, to get a copy, or to have it deleted. There is no form for this and no account to log into — a plain email is enough, and we answer within 1 business day.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top changes with it. We do not backdate.
